Till now, I fund all the travel by myself and even take extra time off from work. This means unpaid leave when I travel over longer periods.

Not really, I buy my own bikes like everyone and regarding the gear I usually ask if I can get some discounts. If I get discounts I also ask if I can get one for my followers and hand this one on to my followers. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not.

 When I list a company I do this because their gear is good and I like it.
